Common questions
Do I need a Stripe account?
Only if you charge an entry fee. Free draws need no payment setup at all. For paid draws, you connect your organization’s Stripe account — takes about five minutes. Payments go directly to you; ChosenFair never touches participant funds. If your organization already runs payments through a separate system, you can run the draw through ChosenFair for free and collect fees outside the platform.
What does setup look like?
We’ll schedule a 30-minute call to walk through your first program together. You define capacity, entry window, and draw date. Your participants get a registration link. No technical staff required on your end.
What do I do on draw day?
Nothing. At the scheduled time, the draw runs automatically. Winners are notified and charged; everyone else’s payment hold is released. You get a full audit record you can share with anyone who asks.
